The beautiful South Quad with its balconies and stonework set against the stunning backdrop of the Close lends itself perfectly to theatre in the open air. This will be an experience as much as a performance by pupils of the Upper School and is an abridged version of around 90 minutes.

Refreshments reflecting the period will be served before and after the performance and during the interval.

This is a unique opportunity to see Clifton's first ever production of Romeo & Juliet in a stunning setting and the traditional style of production includes sword-fighting and Jacobean entertainment.

Updated 25 May 2012 As we head closer to the open-air production of Romeo and Juliet in the School quad, we would like to remind you to purchase your tickets as soon as you can to ensure that you are not disappointed. You should have already received an email with instructions on how to purchase tickets. On Saturday and Sunday night the production will begin at 8.30 p.m. (on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 p.m.) and half an hour before this the area will be open for you to enjoy the experience and find your seats. Please remember that we cannot count on the English weather and therefore you may need to bring warm clothes and raincoats! The play will continue if it rains.
