Football and netball fixtures

On Monday the 4th Feb our U8 girl’s netball team had a match against Bristol Grammar School at Clifton College. Butcombe had so many girls keen to play that we had to put out 2 teams against BGS. This was the first match that they had ever played and all the girls played extremely well. It was a pleasure to watch their knowledge and skills develop as the game progressed; although we lost by 3 goals to 0 this has sets the girls up for the future matches and festivals that are to be played after half term. A big thank you to all the parents who came to support on the side lines from both teams; the encouragement and praise were greatly appreciated.
