Year 2 Trip to Westonbirt Arboretum

On Thursday we went on a coach to Westonbirt. On the coach I sat next to Angus. It took one hour. When we got there we went for a walk and collected leaves. We walked in the mud. I went under a tree. We did Scouting and we saw some tracks. Then we saw a post with an arrow pointing forward. We went forward. It was far. Then we saw a log and we went on it. Then there was a steep slope and we ran down it.

On Thursday I woke up and went to school. A coach came and we went on it. We went on a trip. I saw trees and a woman came. She said, hide the snuggle bug and keep it warm. Then we made a bookmark out of leaves.

Archie

On Thursday I came to school. I had to wear my tracksuit and wellies. We went on a bus. The bus can go very fast. When we got there we came out of the bus and went in the gate. There was a map and I gave out maps to the grown ups. Then we jumped over the gate and ran down the hill. Some people fell down but I didn’t. Mrs Javid gave us bags and we collected some leaves. We found some signs and a statue. You had to turn the handle to make a noise.

On Thursday we wore our boots and went on a trip. We went on the coach and it was a long long way and then we were at the place. We crossed the road and went down a steep slope. We had a bag to pick up leaves and we some tracks on the ground. We had our lunch and a lady talked to us in a room. We buried snuggle bugs and we made a bookmark. Then we went on the coach and went home.
