Welcome to Clifton College Services Ltd

Often referred to as CCSL, we deal with the public use of the College facilities in its function to serve the community.

CCSL offers a wide range of leisure activities for people of all ages. These include:

For busy parents and active children, we run Holiday Activity Courses every day of the school holidays throughout the year for children aged 3 to 16 years, including football days, rock-climbing, cookery courses, and much more. During Easter and the Summer holidays we offer high quality Residential Sports and Activity Courses for boys and girls aged 10 to 16 years, including cricket, fashion, and adventure courses, all on a residential basis. We also run a Soccer and English language programme for overseas students, in association with Manchester United – the world’s greatest club!

For fitness fanatics, we offer membership packages for use of our two sports facilities, our 25m indoor swimming pool and our badminton and tennis courts (outdoor). Away from the main College site, we have an extensive Sports Ground at Abbots Leigh. Just 5 minutes from the Suspension Bridge, the facility boasts floodlit Astroturf pitches, Bristol’s best pay and play Indoor Tennis facility and much more – all available for general hire.

If golf is your game, you can play a round at Ashton Court Golf Course which is run by the College.

Clifton College has some of the finest buildings in Bristol, so if you are planning a party, be it a 21st birthday, a golden wedding anniversary or even a wedding itself, you can hire one of our superb facilities. We can even help you with all the arrangements to ensure your event is a great success.

CCSL also host some wonderful events throughout the summer. In 2007 we welcomed Russell Watson and the RPO to our annual Prom on The Close where over 5,000 people enjoyed a great night of classical music on The Close. Details of our 2008 special events will be confirmed shortly.

In keeping with Clifton College’s fine academic traditions, CCSL also offers Easter Revision Courses. These intensive, high quality courses will help children prepare for upcoming exams and are open to all members of the community.

For international students we host an Academic Preparation Course for overseas children who are planning to board at Clifton College or another UK independent school.

And finally, for theatre-goers, the College's very own Redgrave Theatre hosts shows from local groups and production companies, as well as the three schools. If you need somewhere to perform, perhaps The Redgrave can provide the perfect stage.
