We would like to welcome you once again to our February Half ÂTerm Holiday Club & Activity Courses at Clifton College!
We are pleased to announce a wide range of activities for children for the Half-Term holiday, and we are sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Earlier and Later Stay Service - Please note that our early service (0800 - 1000) and our late service (1600 - 1800) is included in the daily price. If the extra early (0730 - 0800) breakfast service is required, it is essential that 24 hours notice is given. A £5 fee is payable on the day for day for the Breakfast service. Please note that the last time for pick up is 1800. Pick ups after this time will be charged at £15.
Under professional supervision, these morning sessions aim to improve techniques and overall skill through a number of games and activities. Great fun for all ages and abilities.
NB Please note that children are taken off-site for this activity by Young Bristol.
These cookery sessions promise to be both informative and rewarding. A host of recipes will be tried and tested with the results being taken home for the family to sample. Under close supervision, kitchen safety will be also touched upon.
NB: Children should wear old clothes or bring an apron.
This Tournament Day promises to be packed full of the usual fun, nail-biting excitement and spectacular goals. Every team can look forward to lots of matches. An enjoyable experience for footballers of all abilities.
NB: All footballers should bring a change of footwear and appropriate clothing.
This programme offers a great opportunity for 15 and 16 year olds to gain experience in working with children of varying ages. With the option of working with the Minis, Juniors or Kids Club groups, the junior leaders will experience planning and delivery of activity sessions under the guidance of experienced staff. Each leader will receive a leaders t-shirt and an end of holiday report on their progress.
With exclusive use of the facility, the day is sure to be packed full of excitement! A variety of individual and team games will put your shooting skills to the test. Under strict supervision, players will enjoy timed competitions with adequate rest time in between.
An exciting adventure challenge day designed to teach and develop trekking skills. Complete a treasure hunt by map reading as part of a small team around a set Orienteering course and then Mountain Biking on some of the finest urban trails in the region. All specialist equipment provided.
A fantastic opportunity to create a piece of Art to take home for the family to enjoy! Themed Arts and Crafts activities and projects will be available during these creative days.
NB: It is advised that children do not come in their best clothes for this course.
Run by Damian Forder and his team of coaches, these sessions will aim to improve technical and tactical skills in batting, bowling and fielding. Modern-day training techniques, fun activities and competitions will be part of each day.
These Academy days will focus on the various areas which make up the modern game. Shooting, passing and tackling will be practised through a number of fun and rewarding drills and activities. New skills can be displayed in the afternoon tournaments.
