THE JUNIOR PLAY
'Love plus Money'
In a small Mediterranean village, a reclusive nobleman learns that the only way that he can stand for office is to get married to a local girl. When the news that Don
Marco plans to marry spreads, the villagers eagerly anticipate his arrival: none more so than the miserly Donna Pantalini and her bumbling friend Don Dottore, who both hope
to marry their daughters off for money. The problem is, no-one has any idea what Don Marco actually looks like...
Meanwhile, a handsome young man arrives, dressed in a smart suit and shiny shoes. Could this be Don Marco? And who is the sinister character following hard on his heels,
swearing vengeance? Poisoners, pirates, lovers in disguise and shoe salesmen all cross paths in this simple tale of everyday village folk, love and money.
The Junior Play is presented by students from the third and fourth form.
Performances: Thursday 24th at 7.30pm and Friday 25th May at 6.00pm Admission is FREE
