Pre Commemoration 2011

Pre Commemoration 2011
Chapel full at Commem

The Pre celebrated their annual Commemoration Day in glorious sunshine with parents and guests treated to another wonderful day. The speaker this year was Ms Sue Palmer, writer and author of ‘Toxic Childhood’, who spoke about the role of education in the upbringing of children. The music and singing at the service were once again outstanding. After Chapel it was onto the marquee where President of the College, Mr Nick Tarsh, Chairman of the School Council, Mr Tim Ross, and Headmaster Mr John Milne all spoke of the wonderful year the Pre has had and the exciting projects that are taking place in the near future. Mr Milne paid tribute to all the staff that are leaving the Pre this summer including special mention to Mr Ian Turnbull who has been a huge presence at the Pre for so many years. After the speeches parents and visitors enjoyed delicious lunches in the Houses or in the Pre Hall, after which it was time to enjoy the spectacular displays and musical performances that were taking place during the afternoon.

Please enjoy browsing the gallery of the day.
