Girls lead the way at Clifton College

Clifton has followed up last week’s record A-Level results with equally impressive GCSE results.

Six pupils achieved an incredible 11 A* grades, including four girls Mabel Moll, Florence Moore, Lizzie Powell and Emily Wright, and two boys, John Maguire and Daniel Baryshnikov.

Mr Mark Moore, Head Master of Clifton College says:

‘50 pupils achieved at least 8 A*/A grades and these excellent results underline the real academic strength in depth of the school. Many of these pupils have been with us for over ten years so we have watched them grow up, and are really proud of what they have achieved.

‘We are already looking forward to next year and the start of their A-Levels, where I am sure they will continue to achieve academic excellence.’
