Dear Parents,

The end of term is rushing towards us, yet there still seems so much to be done! We still have a mufti day (tomorrow), one more class assembly, two swimming galas, two Year 3 leavers' events and two parents' evenings to go! At least the weather held so that Nursery could hold their sports day yesterday.

On Friday your children will be meeting their new teachers for part of the morning, which is exciting for everyone involved, so the Reception class lists will be sent home today in preparation for that.

Here are the arrangements for next week's Parents' Evenings:

Parents' Interviews

Our Parent Interview Evenings are on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd July. The forms on which you are asked to sign up for an appointment will be put up tomorrow morning, Friday 27th June, for you to enter your chosen day and time. Year 3 forms will be on Butcombe front door with lists for Mrs Askew (Sport), Mme Chidgey (French), Mrs Gillam (Music) and Mrs Noble (Mandarin). Please note Mrs Gillam and Mrs Askew will only be present on Tuesday evening and Mme Chidgey and Mrs Noble only on Wednesday evening. Lists for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be near the Butcombe back door. Miss Parker and Mrs Bath will have lists on the front door of Butcombe.

If you are unable to make an appointment at a time that is convenient, rest assured that all the staff will endeavour to make alternative arrangements for you. If you would like to speak to one of the specialist teachers who is not present on the night you are attending, please let me know and I will arrange for her to ring you. Mr Scorgie will also ring any Y3 parents who want feedback on their child's progress in swimming.

And that is it for now – back to my school reports! I look forward to seeing you around school over the next week and seeing the children in their home clothes tomorrow (£1.00 or more for the priviledge!)
