Butcombe Celebration Day

The annual Butcombe Celebration Day took place this week; the morning began with coffees and croissants in the Bretten Memorial Hall and this was followed by speeches with Mr Andrew Thornhill QC, Chairman of the School Council comparing. The Headmaster of the Preparatory School Mr Milne and then the Head Master of the Upper School Mr Moore both addressed the gathered parents, with the Head of Butcombe Dr Wendy Bowring then giving the main speech.

Following the speeches parents and guests had the chance to walk around Butcombe and Sharps and see the wide variety of exhibitions that were on display in the classrooms and also to see the children taking part in karate, ballet and tap demonstrations.

Thank you to all the parents and guests who helped Butcombe children and staff celebrate another wonderful year.
