Chaplain

Clifton College wishes to appoint an outstanding person to be Chaplain from September 2014.

The main role of the Chaplain at Clifton is to encourage thoughtful reflection in all aspects of the College's spiritual and liturgical life, and to tend to the needs the pupils, of all faiths and none. The glorious Victorian Gothic Chapel, completed in 1895, is central to the life of the school. Applications are invited from those ordained in the Church of England or another Church in the Anglican Communion. The successful applicant should be able to contribute to the College's rich and varied co-curriculum and to teach as well.

Electrician
£23,581 per annum plus benefits including pension scheme.

We are looking for an Electrician to join our multi-trade Maintenance team. The successful applicant will be fully qualified with 17th edition of I.E.E Regulations desirable. The post involves installation, maintenance, repair, testing and inspection of industrial and domestic installations, portable appliances, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting. This role requires the applicant to hold a valid driving licence and be able to work at height. Work wear will be provided.

This role is full time - 39 hours per week.

Preparatory School Librarian
36 hours per week, Term Time
plus 3 weeks per year outside of College Term-Time

We seek an enthusiastic and experienced individual to work in an extremely well resourced Library at Clifton College Preparatory School.

This role involves providing and managing resources for staff and pupils in the Preparatory School; delivering a cross-curricular information skills programme that facilitates the use of resources; integrating the Pre Library into the total life and work of the school. A good working knowledge of Library organisation and classification processes is needed, along with strong IT skills and a helpful and professional manner for assisting all library users.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a good level of confidence and an ability to communicate in a helpful and professional manner at all levels, with children, staff and external agencies. Experience of working i n school libraries is desirable.

The successful applicant will be a qualified, chartered librarian or working towards MCLIP.

Lead Nursery Practitioner

Clifton College require a Lead Nursery Practitioner to work in a busy Nursery at Clifton College. The applicant’s role is to oversee the Nursery Team in the absence of the Early Years Co-Ordinator and to ensure the quality of teaching and learning is outstanding.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the EYTS and outstanding Early Years practice. We are looking for a Practitioner with QTS or EYP status.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
