Welcome to the Old Cliftonian Society

Old Boys and Girls of Clifton College

The Old Cliftonian Society is a very active one, with a small secretariat at the College, 19 branches in the UK and 33 overseas, including Canada, The United States, Australia, Africa and the Far East.

Its aims are threefold: to help members keep in touch with one another; to assist the School; and, in cases of need, to give unobtrusive help to members who experience difficulty in meeting Clifton school fees. All members are invited to regular reunions at the School by age group, and receive a copy of the Society's Annual Report which gives details of the School's activities and news of former pupils.

Out of Touch

Inevitably we lose many Old Cliftonians addresses since they forget to inform the OC Society of their move. If you meet any of your friends whose address does not appear in the current register, please encourage them to inform the OC Society. Changing Faces is a UK charity that supports and represents people who have disfigurements of the face or body from any cause.

Schools Competition Act Settlement Trust

LATEST UPDATE:SCAST press release FINAL embargoed until 1 June 2007.

The recent investigation by the OFT into a number of independent schools (News Release dated 23 November 2006) did not find that the conduct of the schools concerned had had any effect upon fees. Nevertheless an independent Educational Charitable Trust has been set up for the benefit of pupils who attended the schools involved during the relevant years and further details may be found at http://www.scast.org.uk/.
