As is our way, we switched the values with the B team containing the A shooters and vica versa! The weather, which had been appalling in the morning cleared and despite quite windy conditions the afternoon was pleasant and dry. The results were pleasing with the B Team coming 7th overall out of 30 teams. There is a new Old Cliftonians Shooting Club on Facebook and we are encouraging as many OC's as possible to join, either through this social medium or just via email. The grand plan is to meet a few times in early 2011 and actually practice for the Veterans match next year! Prior practice and preparation may well push both teams into the top rankings nex year! |
