Year 6 Cam Toys
The Cam toy project is one which allows the children to produce a working model using traditional woodworking techniques. It has the added demands of using a control programme and the skills required to make a mechanism that has to be made within a certain size.The project has a long history and has developed in the last few years to allow the more adventurous to come up with some very demanding but eventually satisfying solutions. The 'Head chopper' being one of the most interesting, look at the videos and I am sure you will agree!
