See the Poole's House Virtual Tour Poole’s is a happy, vibrant and busy house and our aim is to make the girls quickly feel ‘at home’ here. Staff are always available to lend a hand, offer a friendly word of advice or a sympathetic ear. Exceptionally friendly and positive, Poole’s girls are involved in a wide range of school and House-based activities and are a multi-talented group. Beginning September 2011 we have 74 girls aged 8-13 years of age, including 28 boarders. The House is made up of boarders and day girls; many of our day girls come to board on an occasional basis and all are welcome to make full use of our excellent House facilities. Our house team is composed of enthusiastic tutors and matrons. ![]() Poole’s boasts:

Day girls arrive from 8am onwards and many stay on for tea and some for Prep depending on their routine and parental wishes. There is a full weekend programme of activities for the boarders to enjoy, ranging from trips to Longleat to ten pin bowling, from ice skating to jewellery making! ![]() Poole’s Staff:Our team of staff who help to run the House includes the three resident House Tutors, Miss Jean Davies, Miss Chablis May and Miss Debbie Hufflet, and four non-resident tutors: Miss Georgina Pike, Mrs Yvonne Barrett, Mrs Elizabeth Mawson, and Ms Lara Saxby. We also have three student Gap tutors who live in the House and our team of Matrons is led by Mrs Chryssa Taplin. We are fortunate to have such an warm team of House staff and we are all looking forward to an active, productive and, above all, happy school year.
