Clifton College WebsiteWollaston's House
Wollaston’s House is named after George Hyde Wollaston Esq (1844-1926) who was assistant master at Clifton College from 1870 to 1899. The House currently has 37 day boys between the ages of 8 and 11. There are five tutors attached to the house, a matron and of course the Housemaster. There are several communal rooms in the House, which have been recently decorated and upgraded.
The feeling in the House is one of warmth and comfort. The boys certainly regard it as their home and the staff all strive to create a friendly atmosphere. In addition, the boys themselves are very aware of their duty to each other. They are encouraged to look out for one another wherever they may be on the school campus and always to offer help to a House mate in need. © 2006-12 Clifton College | |||||||
