A Sporting Prayer
All-knowing Coach,
Grant us determination as we ruck and maul our way through life, and teach us the value of good support.
In all things, enable us to maintain a good line and length, and help us to discern when a straight bat is expedient.
Give us the wisdom not to be offside too often, and when our goal is in sight, may our aim be straight and true.
Amen.
