French Department and the JCR Concert - The Tatianas

On Friday 19th September 2008, the JCR and the French Department welcomed up-and-coming rock band The Tatianas to the College Crypt.

Over 80 revellers passed through the gates for a night of French rock ‘n’ roll. The Tatianas defied the Eurostar fire to travel to Bristol especially for the gig and they were met with what they later described as their warmest welcome yet.

The Crypt is enjoying a revival since the change in alcohol laws, once again proving to be an acoustically sound venue, popular with musicians and pupils alike and all ably marshalled and served by the JCR Committee.

The Tatianas left Bristol with a genuine affection for their first visit to Bristol and passed on their hearty thanks to all those who attended and made them feel welcome. Their first album is due to be released before the end of the year.
