Clifton College WebsiteScienceScience has been taught at Clifton since the foundation of the school in 1862. Over the years, many important scientists have been educated at Clifton, including two Nobel Laureates and many Fellows of the Royal Society.
The Science School has outstanding facilities for carrying out practical science. It has three ICT suites with desktop computers and a radio network that gives full access to the College ICT system for laptop users. The Science School has its own library, the Stone Library, which is a dedicated science library housing approximately 5,000 science-related texts. The Science School is also supporting the development of Project Galileo, an internet-controlled astronomical telescope.
