Clifton College WebsiteScholarships and BursariesEach year a number of awards are offered to girls and boys in order for them to be able to come to Clifton. These are, broadly, in two categories: Scholarships: these are merit based awards and are competed for via examination, audition or other appropriate assessment. Candidates are placed in a rank order of merit based on their performance. The maximum award available by scholarship examination or assessment is 25% of the fees. The combined value of two or more Scholarships cannot exceed this amount. Bursaries: these are means-tested awards and these may be awarded in addition to Scholarships or in their own right.
