Staff and Student Sailing 2010

The College Sailing Club held its annual Staff and Student Sailing afternoon at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club on Thursday 24 June (the last Thursday before Away Days 2010).

This is a great fun event, with no sailing experience necessary as students themselves can helm and it is the perfect time to see and try out the College’s brand new Firefly boats – all three of them. The only attribute necessary is a willingness to get ‘wet and windy’, with the optional opportunity of the fancy dress pirate theme!

What more fun can you have on the water? Well, none that we can think of, especially as the informal race was followed by a BBQ in the beautiful setting of the Chew Valley Lakes.
