The Arts
Clifton can rightly boast of a renowned tradition in the Performing and Visual Arts.
Old Cliftonians include Sir David Willcocks, Joseph Cooper (music), Sir Michael Redgrave, John Cleese, Simon Russell Beale (stage and screen), and Roger Fry (art).
We aim for Music, Drama and Art to be a central part of the ‘Clifton Experience’ for all girls and boys and the opportunities for their involvement are numerous and various.
Many activities are pupil led, most notably the House Singing and Instrumental Competitions, the House Drama Festival, and the House Art Exhibitions.
