Save the Children

Working in a Save the Children charity shop for my Clifton in the Community has been extremely enjoyable. I go there each Monday and I help in different ways, such as working behind the till, organising the shop window and the new donations. I have found helping at the charity shop very rewarding as it gives support to the kind people working at the shop, mostly volunteers, as well as helping innocent children through raising money. It has also helped me with interacting with the customers and broadening my people relations skills.

I have previously worked at another charity shop and both experiences have shown me the importance of volunteer work and how much difference just an hour and a half can really make.
