Under 16s Shooting Award
Murray Lidgitt (14) has just won a prestigious shooting award at the National Public Schools Championships. He was the top Under 16 shot in the Ashburton Shield Competition at the National Shooting Centre at Bisley this summer and was presented with the Silenta Trophy. Although only just 14 at the time, he scored better than many competitors 2 years older than himself. He was also placed second in the Open Competition, which is open to competitors up to 19 years of age.
