Clifton College WebsiteIntermediate Mathematics Challenge![]() ![]() Before half term, 113 Year 9, 10 and 11 students took part in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust Intermediate Mathematics Challenge. Of these, 26 will receive a gold certificate, 37 silver and 22 bronze. Even more impressive is that 18 students also qualified for the "Kangaroo" competition, a Europe-wide competition. At the very top level, 2 students, Kirsten Gill and Chris Lee qualified for the Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad, a competition with more in-depth questions. These later stages take place on 15th March. Chris (pictured right) was the top scorer in the Challenge, even though he is still in Year 9.
