The Houses

In each of the seven boarding Houses (four for boys, three for girls) live the Housemaster or Housemistress and family, an Assistant and the Matron. In addition, each House has up to four non-residential Tutors. Clifton's approach to boarding is in keeping with modern demands, and many families prefer to opt for a 'flexi-boarding' arrangement to suit their specific needs and wishes. Whether it be seven-day, four-day or three-day boarding, or just a 'sleep-over', all involved have one thing in common - they have great fun!

The three day Houses for boys and one for girls have the same pastoral structure, with the Housemaster or Housemistress living on site or close by, and they offer exceptional facilities for study and recreation.

Two houses, Hallward's (girls) and Wiseman's (boys), offer the flexibility of both day and boarding accommodation.
