Worcester House Trip to The Gower, Wales

On Saturday September 13th a group of Third Form Worcester girls set off on an adventure. Having played hockey matches for more than an hour, we were all tired. But that didn’t stop Phoebe and Elle entertaining us on the journey with their singing. From then on all the exciting stuff started to kick in. We arrived at our Welsh resort. It was a beautiful summer’s day with incredible views. The air was fresh and lovely.

That evening the task was to cook for ourselves. We were split into two groups and given ingredients for Bolognese and garlic bread. Phoebe, Seun and Isis took over the kitchens, while everyone else fixed the salads. Sarah was really proud of hers! The salad people soon finished and sprinted off to the large field behind the house. Elle daringly rescued a discarded football from a bull in the next field. When our food masterpieces were ready, we traipsed inside, not really looking forward to the giant pile of washing up waiting for us.

The next day we went to the beach to learn surfing. Whilst everyone else was freezing in their damp wetsuits and surfing in the cold water, Jasmine, Becky and Polina made sandcastles. After they had finished doing that, they decided to leave a memory behind in the sand. It said …’Worcester 3rd form 08-08’ It covered a large area of beach, and you could see if from the top of the endless steps leading up to the village.

We all had a great time!
