Achievements/Honours:

We have six girls playing county netball and two playing regional netball. We have qualified through the initial county rounds for the last five years and have qualified for the regional finals twice. We are travelling to Taunton for the regional finals in 2009.

Major Fixtures/Competitions Entered:

Clifton enters all county tournaments for all age groups, U14, U16 and U19. The fixture list is extensive playing, Millfield, Marlborough, Cheltenham Ladies, Cheltenham College, Bristol Grammar school, Blundell’s, Queens Taunton, Taunton, King’s Taunton, Malvern and Bromsgrove school.

Important Coaches:

Each team has its own netball coach and umpire. Jessica Garland was the main professional coach at Clifton until she was promoted through Sport England as one of the next Olympic games potential coaches. We currently are lucky to have Team Bath’s Monique Wood.

Development:

Girls train three times a week and a shooting clinic is available on a Friday afternoon. It is hoped girls are selected through the county tournaments for development and representative netball.
