She has always been interested in various aspects of art; including studying and creating fine art, design and photography. There are also some photographs of the College grounds that she has taken that you may like to see.

Josh Dyer

Josh Dyer: I am a student in the Upper Sixth Form, and although not technically a ‘Clifton Lifer’, I have been at the College since the age of 5. I am currently studying Chemistry, Biology and Music, my main interest is the latter, with guitar being my instrument of choice. My obsession with music led me to join the website committee, with the position of music correspondent, and I intend to enlighten myself and others as to the music that goes on within and out of school life.

Toby Foster

Sam Foster: I am now in my Fourth and final year at Clifton College. I have a wide experience in journalism, ranging from the News desk at the Weston and Somerset Mercury through to the commentary box at the Oval with Sky Sports. I am taking French, Spanish and Italian A-levels. Although I am rather opinionated, I try to be as fair as possible in most cases, however as with all critiques, there is always a questionable point of view.

James Hanson

James Hanson was a pupil of Moberly's House who contributed to the website committee with his weekly political blog. Aside from the committee, James was best known for his period as Editor of the satirical student newspaper The Union and for his active role in Clifton drama. James is now studying Politics at the University of Leeds and has appeared on media outlets including BBC Radio 5 Live, BFBS Radio and Original 106.5 fm.

Katie James

Katie James: I joined Clifton College last year in the Lower Sixth and absolutely love living in Worcester House (the best house by far!). I am studying Maths, Economics, History and Biology for A Level and hope to read Land Economy at university next year. I enjoy public speaking, dancing, and shopping, and now I’m really excited about becoming a member of the student website team.

Emily King

Emily King: I came to Clifton College in September 2006 as a new Third Former. I am currently studying Spanish, French and English Literature at A-level and plan to continue with English Literature and French at university as I would like to become a journalist. I love sports, art and pretty much any sort of music, well not all genres, but quite a few and I also have a younger brother who is currently in Fifth Form.

Eloise Ladkin

Eloise Ladkin: I have been at the School since Year 7 and am now in the Upper Sixth. School seems daunting yet writing for the website is a new and exciting experience. I am studying A-Levels in English, Psychology and Fine Art with the intention of potentially studying a Joint Honours course in English Literature and Philosophy at university. My interests are Drama, Art, family and friends. Being keen on writing led me to become interested in being a member of the School website committee.

William Hanson

William Hanson, Old Cliftonian, was in Moberly's House and at Clifton from 1996-2008. He is now studying at the University of Manchester. William has had a wide and diverse broadcasting career, despite being only 19; his credits include Tatler, Sunday Telegraph, BBC Radio Five Live, Big Brother's Little Brother. For more information visit his website.

Rhodri Lewis

Rhodri Lewis, Old Cliftonian, East Town. He enjoys many sports like hockey, tennis and squash but much prefers activities like skiing, kayaking and rock climbing. Rhodri's love of writing has led him to become a member of the Student Website team and is hoping that it becomes a great success.

Charlie Barker

Charlie Barker, Old Cliftonian, studied Maths, History, English, German and Critical Thinking. He plays squash, tennis and rugby and his interests include skiing, music, film and motor racing. Charlie has always enjoyed English and that’s why he chose to write for the school website. (And the brainstorming sessions were often very funny...)

Sophie Jackson

I am Sophie Jackson, Old Cliftonian, and I joined the website committee to help keep you all up to date with the ins and outs of Clifton College. I started here this September, in the Upper Sixth, as a member of Hallward’s House. I studied mainly sciences, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology with the intention of becoming a doctor. Writing for the website was a welcome change from learning molecular structures and investigating the strength of a cell wall. I think it’s great we, as students, are given the chance to express our own views – not only on events at Clifton but also current affairs and have them available for people to read. In my spare time I enjoy playing and listening to music, shopping and socialising.

Dominic McInerney

Dominic McInerney, Old Cliftonian, studied Latin, English, Spanish and History. In his spare time he enjoys swimming and shotokan karate, in which he is a black belt. He started writing for the website because he wanted to voice his opinions on the amount of coursework in the 5th Form, and to explore a career in writing.

Alfie Williams

Alfie Williams, Old Cliftonian, was in the Upper Sixth and studied History, English and Philosophy. In his spare time he is interested in listening to and writing music, going to concerts and enjoying the company of others.
